I haven’t introduced myself on here for a while so I thought I’d do that again. A big warm hello to all of you blog readers and wonderful humans out there! My name is Kelly and I’m the woman behind Goddess Rising Reiki & Boudoir in San Diego, California.
When I was 35, I had my first Boudoir session (as the Subject lol!) I was super self-conscious about my body, but I fell in love with Boudoir after I saw the photos and realized how confident and sexy I felt (and still do every time I look at those photos!) I wanted Every woman to feel like this! In 2019, I decided to stop shooting weddings and go for it- and Goddess Rising Boudoir was born.
I spend most of my days taking photos of women in their underwear (and various other clothing!) and love every minute of it. 🤗 For me, what I do is so much more than just a job, it’s something I picture myself doing for years to come because it allows me to empower women, give them new confidence, and connect them back to their divine feminine/sexy side. I honestly couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
In the past few months though I began to wonder if I could give MORE, more than just an outward confidence. I have been a Reiki Master for 4 years or so, and I realized the healing practice I have for myself would be WORLDS beyond just the Boudoir session alone. So Reiki + Boudoir was born, and is still growing as we speak. I do free local events in the park where I give a group Reiki healing session, as well as Aura and Sound Healing. In addition to being a passionate healer, I’m also a wife, yogi, vegan, and I enjoy spending time with my hubby and little diva cat when I’m not working. 🤗🥰
